Database not bound

Postby nickar » Wed 30. Jan 2008, 00:36

I followed the guide for generating CRUD interfaces throu manageable entities, except for this step:

'Make sure the bpm4struts cartridge knows how to call the back-end, set this namespace property: ${pom.package}.ManageableServiceLocator.instance().get{1}(). (when not using EJB session beans, this feature's compatibility has not yet been fully tested with EJBs enabled)'

I don't understand what does it mean, so i can't implement it!! (i'm argentinian, so my english is not quite polished at all!!)

When i deploy my webapp and i start it, it throws me this error,

"Problem managing carrera: destiny not bound"

Do you have any idea?

Thanks in advance

Hi Nico,

I can't help with your issue but if you want to take a look at a running application using manageable entities (JSF instead of Struts) you can take a look at http://sourceforge.net/projects/jgnuteca .

Help and comments (in portuguese) about the application can be found at http://groups.google.com/group/andromda .

Thanks for the link, i'll try to study it.

i wan't to clarify something:

When i created this test project with manageable entities, i didn't used anything else.

I had only created the entity and defined the 2 stereotypes.

Have i forgotten something?

Thanks

Well... i've found where was my mistake!!, the problem was that if i use manageable entities i have to define at least one service so the spring cartridge imports what manageable entities requires to work!

I hope this helps everyone else!!

Thanks!!
