Value Object stereotype not available

Postby bankssf » Thu 30. Apr 2009, 20:04

Greetings,

I've been using andromda 3.3 and MagicDraw 15.5 to model WebServices. I notice that the Value Object stereotype is not available in the stereotype selection dropdown. What do I do to get that stereotype into the list?

Thanks for any help.

That's strange... Maybe you're using the webservices profile and not the full Andromda profile...

Walter,

Here are the profiles I have in my UML project:

UML Standard Profile

UML Profile for Java

andromda-profile-messaging

andromda-profile-meta

andromda-profile-persistence

andromda-profile-presentation

andromda-profile-process

andromda-profile-servicke

andromda-profile-webservice

andromda-profile-xml

All the andromda profiles are version 3.31.

What am I missing?

many thanks.

You're missing the andromda-java profile... if you import the andromda-profile (M2_REPO/org/andromda/profiles/uml2/andromda-profile/3.3/andromda-profile-3.3.xml.zip) it will import all the andromda profiles.

andromda-profile-java is not in my repository, nor is it in my andromda-3.3 release. How can I get it??

When I import andromda-profile, I just get the same list of profiles I already have.

Thanks again for the help.

Value Object Stereotype

Postby bankssf » Fri 8. May 2009, 17:53

Walter,

I had to import the timetracker profile to get the ValueObject stereotype. I couldn't find it anywhere else.

Here's my smiley on that:

Thanks again.
